equitector do long boots for the more ample calf! I have some and they're great, they go up to XX wide. (not saying that you need them that big!

I gave up and got some made! I keep them for best and ride in jod boots and chaps(knee high) I cant get anything to fit. Genetic problem for me unfortunately!! BUT I will be reading this post for any ideas!!! At least you know you are not the only one!!!

I've got the same problem! I ride out everyday in my Mountain Horse high riders and for competing I've got Regent Oakleys, both are made for the more normal sized lady, not the 6 foot 9 twiglets!

Equitectors are great, I tried some on at your Horse Live, and they are the first long boots I have ever been able to get on comfortably..just a tiny bit gutted as I have been outbid on a pair in just my size on ebay at the mo

i have muck boots which are fab

but i got calcutts to make mine using a normal pair of boots and sewing an extention patch all in all cost me £66!!!

also i have half chaps from shires

I have calfs that at 19" !!!

short, fat legs!!!

I have the same problem - I'm just under 5' and have short fat legs and small feet - 3 1/2.

My latest find is the Toggi extreme boots with their gaiters which come in lots of different lengths and widths and they are comfortable and you can switch been long and short boots as you wish.

My other set of boots were shortened and stretched for me by my saddler - and I look after them very carefully and keep them for showing only as they are so comfortable now.

I think i win on the freak of nature thing, i'm 5ft 2(and a half!) and a size 7 feet with 38 cm calfs and only 38cm long lower legs. (i'm not fat i've just got plenty of bone!!! - i am a size 10 honest just with thge fattest shortest legs with massive feet in the world!!)

I got some equileather ones from saxon they're £39 and come in differing sizes (mine are a little long to tell the truth!)
