Took my boy out to the field this morning and noticed he was rather short in his gait. OH noticed too. I also thought his legs looked a bit puffy but could've been imagining. Trotted him up and was a bit reluctant but will check again later, unfortunately we both had to go to work. Going to have a good check over when I go up but just wondering what you'd be looking for if lammi? He's never had it before and is on restricted grazing and a very strict food intake as he can gain weight like nobody's business.
I'm also thinking he was stabled longer than usual last night so perhaps just stiff ? He's 11years old , hacking fit. Was quite slow on hack on Tuesday but put it down to heat ....
He was also shod last Thursday which crossed my mind but Im sure I would've noticed any immediate soreness.
Any ideas?
