Was looking at the Barocca results, where he did very well, and thought "he must be knocking on a bit" (the horse that is...), so I looked up his results, and he has competed at Advanced level every year since 1997

! That's 12 consecutive seasons, and most of them included 2 either CCI3 or 4*s. He is 18 this year. What a testament to his toughness, both mental and physical, and to his team.

I too was really pleased to see that he was at in Portugal. He also achieved some great 4* results.

Think he had a quiet year last year with ODEs so thought he had probably been semi-retired. Great to see he hasn't! Maybe hes being aimed for the Olympics... wasn't Glengarrick 19/20 at the WEG?

crikey, that really is impressive. oh to have one as tough as that! he never gives the fences much xc, just looks really workmanlike to me, but i bet he's awesome to ride.
he's a bit like Over To You... we all need one that sound and tough.
