the answer is because shes like a very opinionated large german lady but we already had a Helgar-big CB mare
and for my new foalie im thinking
Winnifred
or for a boy Rory or Rupert

Ours are dickensian so most are pretty dumb.
We have a 17.1 baby percheron called Tiny Tim and I will be committed the next time I hear "He's not very tiny!"

We had one called Chuzzlewitt who was a pain in the ass and degenerated to F*ckwitt.....

I had a horse called maximillian squiffy and every time we went in the ring they'd say the first part, pause and then there'd be some kind of odd emphasis on the squiffy

Was just discussing this the other day with a friend. Used to have a MOrgan mare called Pudding's Dessert. Stable name: JJ

Used to remember seeing on a show list somewhere a horse called Knobbi-knees

I've had a Maybel, now got Mac to make the whole stage show!
I had a gelding called Shifty, his 'proper' name was Nightshift and I think his nickname matched his nature! When I sold him his new owner renamed him Troy and he apparently is much better natured!
I'm sure there are loads more bad names I've come across but I can't think of them right now!

Well he's a 3 1/2 yr old percheron so might gain an inch but has one hell of a lot of filling out to do yet!

My friends pony was called uggers, because he was the most ugly little thing ever seen, but he had the best temperment you could imagine, and oh boy could he jump she won every big show poss on him.
I name all my foals after family members: seems to make them happy and they really want to come and help me with all the horses so they can see their name sake
