My first pony was called Windrush as he was very farty! A local showjumper has a horse called Windows - apparently the dealer he bought it from names his horses after different things each year, one year it was food and the year of that horse it was car parts.

I soon changed it, she wasn't even a coloured, so no idea where it came from. Have a friend with a pony called Jelly.

Windrush hehe i like it!
I have a horse called james (not a v good horse name imo, but it kinda suits him) - his proper name is Heriot, so thought it was amusing to call him James Heriot (i am a vet student too, so was fate i think!)
Also had one called Bang On Time (Banger) as he was born on the day he was due!

Ive never managed to name an animal sensibly!

I had 2 rabbits - Bun and Edam (because she was dutch!)
The guinea pigs - Bacon and Egg (Egg was white wth a round yellow mark on his back like a fried egg)
My dogs are called Nemo and Piglet - Nemo named after the Fish and Piglet because, firstly its also a Disney character and 2ndly because she was the runt of the litter and born with a broken curly tail!

I had a horse called Dennis and another called James! Current horse is Robespier - Polish name, not that silly really!

None of them are horses I'm afraid but i've had my fair share of other silly names:
2 Guinea Pigs - Whisky and Gin (I was only 5 so a bit worrying I spose!)
2 Cats - Marmite and Pudding

At the moment I've got 2 rats, one called Ralph and the other is Sh*tty (named by my boyfriend as he pooped on him when we first got them!)

our first ratties were called Splinter - after Master Splinter the sensei in Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (well the kids were young at the time..) and Splat - well that's a bit more obvious, Splat the Rat!! They were the cutest, cuddliest ratties ever!

Horses - Donkey, cos she could be a right one on occasions! Barry, used to be Marvin because he was always starvin' but then got a bit plump and looked as if he'd eaten all the pies!
Can't say about Ben's nickname cos I'd get into trouble

My boy's posh name is Callmesometime which I think makes him sound like he should be standing under a red light on a street corner and advertising his services in 'phone boxes....

Probably the silliest horse name we had was Prune. Only when he was called prune would he stay sound - sounds odd - but completely true. As a tribute to his stable name, his posh name was California Sunsweet!!

a 13,2 pony called Dick was the worst iv heard iv come across yet..my friends loaned him as they heard he was quiet and a great schoolmaster...but they change the name to Dominic because they were mortified when they heard one of the kids telling someone that X was teaching them to ride Dick!...or maybe it was just our terrible teenage minds that made it seem so much worse.. seriously tho who calls a kids pony Dick!hell who calls any horse that!
