Trailblazers is an unaffliated series run by show centres and if you score a certain percentage in dressage or jump a double clear you qualify for the second round. You then can qualify for the national finals.

They do dressage and SJ, quite easy to qualify for 1st round as only need i think 58% in dressage and double clear in SJ. 2nd round bit harder as dressage you must be placed in first 5, so depending on how many people enter (in my case on saturday it was about 50) its really hard. Not sure whats needed for 2nd round SJ as havent got that far yet

An unaffiliated series to give the amateur/weekend rider a chance to qualify and compete at a national competition
SJ is run at the following heights; 75cm, 85cm, 95cm, 105cm. In the first round if you jump a double clear you qualify for the 2nd round. The 2nd round competition is run over 3 rounds with the last of 3 rounds being a JO for all those who have gone clear in round 1 and 2. If you are placed in the top 4 you qualify for the finals at Stoneliegh in August. Here you jump over 2 days with rosettes given out over both days. They dress the fences with flowers and its a wonderful experiecne. I was in the 85cm last year and the fences got to about 1m with alsorts of fillers, water trays, trebles.

To qualify for 2nd round dressage you must get a first round score over 58% then at the 2nd rounds you must be placed in the top 5 with a score over 60%. At the finals you ride one test on day 1 and then on the 2nd day depending on your score you go into different groups and ride another test.
