:oOK, possibly very silly question about my field.

Right I have land which I have split into two sections. One of the the sections is very dry and is usuable in winter and summer, the bottom section gets boggy and cannot be used in winter. Then on top of this I have my neighbours field which is also on the same level as the lower part of my field which cannot be used in winter.

So, at the moment for the night I put her in the lower paddock, because this is where I have electric fencing. So she has this in her routine of hay in lower field and then closed for the evening and let out to roam all three fields during the day.

I would like to start thinking of closing off the fields so that I can let the grass start to grow. I know how I want to do this but am just worried that when I close off the lower field now (so that the grass can grow and she can have this field for Oct and Nov if I'm lucky with weather). I am just worried she will find the change stressful and confusing at night time!!! Or will she be ok?

Sorry, it really is silly but I worry about her feelings!!

Im sure shel be fine! I dont think youll hurt her feelings by limiting the grass/ changing the field. Much better that she has the grazing over winter than risk it :)
