Tomorrow I am taking my 5 year old out to a show jumping clinic which starts at 9am. My silly question for today is, do I have to leave early enough to be able to warm up before 9am or will I warm up as part of the clinic?
you normally warm up during your clinic time, if your horse is a little spook or sharp and the place your going has the facilities you could always go early just to settle the horse and perhaps walk it round beforehand. i wouldnt do any strenous work as thats what you will be doing in your lesson.
nothing wrong with a 10- 15 min warm up, and then who ever is teaching will probably want to ovserve a bit of you warming up in the lesson, sot eh better you are warmed up the more you will benefit from your lesson
