well to those who have not seen my previous post, the pony has felt jerky and has a few little rubs on his loins...which made me think the saddle didnt fit right.
luckily, i went to a clinic and the lady their was very knowledgeable, and she told us we were right...its was pinching
we called the saddler on thursday, and she had a look at his back and fitted a lovely new saddle. he moved GREAT in it. unfortunately, she also told us he had a sore back and hips. he is such a brave little guy and wasnt showing any signs, and now i feel awful.
so now, pony is going to have a few weeks off to let the weird shaped muscles build back up, by then the new saddle will arive (yay). we are also going to call the physio.
so ye basically im preety pee'd about saddles at the mo! especially since his old saddle (a wintec) was fitted and checked last yeat (and he hasnt changed shape since) and apparently it was fine!!!!!
cant wait for pony to be BACK to new (if youll pardon the pun...)
