does anyone know the name of the ones i mean!?:rolleyes:

anyway.. as they cost the earth - have had it for 4 years but in super duper condition, my neddy went and ripped the whole front pad off.. so pretty inrepairable.. it cost so much.. is my only option to chuck it out??:(

Hi no don't chuck it - a good rug wash/repair business will be able to repair it. I have had some pretty serious rips on quite new rugs repaired for very few £'s. So do not despair, ring your rugwash folk they are bound to have old rugs they can glean 'spare bits' from. Good luck!

DH1- thats the one!! -- i forgot to mention the teeny weeny detail that we came to the conclusion it didnt fit him that well as well! .. are second hand rugs a good seller on ebay etc??

Fal rugs tend to sell quite well on Ebay.
I'm not sure how au fait you are with Ebay, but if you click on "Advanced" at the very end of the search box at the top, you can search for completed listings only. You can see what they sold for (or not!).
Hope that makes sense:D

Silver lined FAL rugs are like rocking horse poo in certain sizes now so definitely stick it on Ebay once you've had it repaired.

It would be easy for your local rug wash/repair people to repair it, one of mine has a habit of ripping her rugs at the withers and going back so splitting it in half, normally only £6 to repair and they make it tonnes stronger that she now only gets the reapied ones as she cant rip them.
Repair and pop on ebay you will get good money for it
