For those who have or do use the above 'balancer', 1) how much approx do you need to feed a 16.2hh horse per day 2)how long will the large 15kg tub last one horse? 3) is it really as good as a multi vitamin supplement / balancer as it claims on the website? 4) can you feed it to in foal mares ?
Thankies in advance and sorry for so many questions

Why not give Simple System a ring they are lovely and very helpful. I buy their grass pellets and Instant Linseed but have no experience with Total Eclipse..

I just don't get it that a natural product, which contains substances subject to fluctuation (such as seaweed from one area being of different nutritional value to that from another coastline) can possibly hope to be fully balanced and contain correct levels of everything that a horse needs.

Far better IMO to give a high spec. properly regulated balancer such as TS

I feed all Simple Systems feed - other than Total Eclipse as it doesn't have the same nutritional value as Top Spec. Other than that, can't fault their feed.

I have one horse on Total Eclipse, they're all on Simple Systems but the other has Excel Extra from Equicell as his supplement.

The horse on Total Eclipse has one 50ml scoop a day. (think its 50ml, not a lot anyway!)

My lads on it , we just give a normal sized mug full a day now he was on a half a mug during the summer. The big bag lasts him about 2 months.

Lovely shiney coat, muscle tone and hoof growth. Fab balancer in my opinion.
