I used to use it a few years ago. Fed Lucie Pellets and Pure Beet with their linseed. Now that fibre-based, cereal-free feeds are more mainstream though, I’ve switched to other brands as I find them easier to source and cheaper for what is essentially the same product.

Very good quality and excellent customer service. I only don't feed it anymore as my oldie has got very fussy in his old age and will seemingly only eat junk food!

I was using the Haycare for my oldie as a hay replacer but I had to mix in some Spillers nuts and mint and fenugreek as he wasn’t thrilled with the healthy, low-sugar content. It was good quality though but expensive.

I had a mare who couldn't eat hay or haylage due to an issue which made her choke- so I fed her bucket feeds of soaked grass nuts and fibre pellets and when she had to stand in for any time she got their lucie brix. Its not cheap but it worked.

I feed Simple Systems, just the Lucie pellets, metaslim balancer and Timothy chop. It is expensive, but I feed in very small quantities, appreciate the quality, and it is delivered and dropped off while I am working! Great customer service.

Really pleased with them. I don’t use the chaffs as find the stalks too stalky :p and the other one was quite dusty.

I fed it, my horse loved it, but it made him fat not fit. I spoke to the owner of a warmblood who said the same.

Very good, I think for the TB or Arab type.

I have fed SS for years! My late TB had Green Gold, Blue Bag grass pellets and Total Eclipse. When he reached his twilight years I added TopGain and he looked fantastic on it! We now only have the childrens ponies and they are fed (all slightly differently) a combination of Lucie Fibre Pellets, Lucie Nuts, TopGain and Total Eclipse and all are thriving on it.
Brilliant customer service and love that it is delivered (and very promptly too).

I’ve just started my 27 yr old pony on Topgain, as for the first time he’s looking his age. Do you know how much weight is in a Stubbs scoop? Obviously feeding tiny amounts at the moment. TIA

Hi, I weighed out a Stubbs scoop this morning and it came in at 1.7kg! Far more than I used to feed my TB and the two ponies that are currently on it are getting a mug (soaked) split between them (sorry, I didn’t weight this!) alongside their Lucie Nuts.

Thank you, he’s having a mug a day now, so I won’t increase it. ?

I dare say the stuff is as wonderful as some owners say it is and performs miracles; but sadly at practically three-times the cost of normal feed it is beyond the affordability of the great majority of people I would imagine.

Plus you have to have a larger quantity delivered as you can't get it in feed shops.

I still think Simple System had the best customer service I've ever encountered. They were so, so helpful.

Sadly mine didn't do so well on alfalfa so don't use it anymore but wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in a heartbeat for good quality feed.
