I use their Lucie Nuts and their unmolassed beet. Would recommend it. I have an 18 year old retired TB that never kept weight in winter. She looks a bit porky ever since she has been on it!
It doesnt blow their brains and they all seem to thrive on it.
I do mix it with Dengie Hi Fi and give them Pasture nuts too. I think their Lucie Bix are supposed to be good but not tried them.
We use it for all our GG's - 1 full TB ex racer (poor dooer), 1 event horse, 1 retired very good doer and 1 pleasure horse.
Its FAB for all of them and supports thier digestive system so they are always well hydrated, gleaming and happy.
My ex-racer looks fab on it.
Jane Van lennep herself is coming to do a talk for the Ex racers Club in June about nutrition for TBs and the Simple System itelf - buts its in Suffolk (Richard Maxwell is working with 4 exracers on the day too). If you fancy a trip down, PM me !!
Yes I use it aswell I have a a 17 hh TB and a 17hh Han/TB both have the Lucie Bix but I have bought some of the Enduro mix to start to use that aswell for the one in harder work.
Mine love it and it has helped with the TB very itchy skin problem. Both are looking good on it
I must admit I dont feed it to my Veterans as I just give them another brand senior mix.
