Anyone use them? Any opinions appreciated.

They are a block of forage which apparantly is equivalent to 1 section of hay. Was looking as a top up to hay over the winter but not sure if they last as long. How do peoples horses accept them etc.

Hi Molly, I bought the simple systems lucie stalks to top up neds winter feed, they didn't like it as it smelt of sprouts especially when dampened, having said that, both of mine are in a starvation paddock at the mo and I started mixing it with moli chop light and they loved it, I'm thinking as the bag was opened it had time to "breath". I liked using it as I know its good for them rather than just hay. A quick note though its packed REALLY TIGHT and ended up hacking it out with a hoof pick!! I think its good value and will definatly get some more when visiting mother in law where the outlet is.
