I tend to buy it when the showing season is kicking off and in full swing to get dates for shows ect and see acquaintences in it
i look at this bloomin forum more than i read the mag.

I started to subscribe about 4 years ago when I affiliated the first time. I read most of the general stuff and the disciplines I'm interested in and flick through the rest.

I buy it occassionally - if I have a long train/car ride or something and want to pass the time.

My infrequency is not a reflection on the magazine. I just don't generally buy magazines as more as I never read them, and hence they are a waste of my money. It would maybe be different if I wasn't forever reading for uni

Up until about 5 years ago I bought it every week for around ten years. However when my circumstances changed I could no longer afford it as well as my weekly racing papers. I stopped having it weekly as well as the racing papers and now only buy either if there is an interesting article I want to read, usually involving horse racing or ptp though lol.

I subscribe to H&H and Eventing. It bugs me how they send letters saying "you will have noticed how the quality has improved and hence we are putting the price up..."

Why cant they just say we are putting the price up because we want to make more profit!!
