They used to do 6ft5 a few years ago (circa 2008) but stopped.

I had no idea they had started up again. I need between a 6ft3 and 6ft6 and was having a whole conversation in my head wishing thay WB still made their inbetweeny size.

Where have you seen them?

A very long time, certainly when I worked there in 2005. It's because of some countries having sizing in cms so there was a small over lap meaning the cm version of the rugs didnt quite measure 6'6 so were rightly marked 6'5 as I remember it

I bought their 6ft 5" just a few weeks ago the 100gms turnout it threw me a bit but fits horse just fine but as I had just found out my other two turnout rugs one was 6ft3" and one 6ft 6" I was confident it would be ok.

I've got a couple of turnouts, they're WB Takas that are 6'5". Sold as that size, labelled as 6'5" on both the bag and the rug.

So real difference in size that you can tell to my other Weatherbeetas that are 6'6 and still come up bigger than some of the other brands.

This! What are you after?
Ive not even been solely looking at one rug but try find an Amigo or Rhino either!

My only 6ft 6in Weatherbeeta which I think is about 100g and is 20 years old is disintegrating and beyond repair. I’m not entirely sure but max 200g with a detachable neck or a 100g under rug or liner and a 100g top rug or similar. It’s rarely cold enough for anything else here. I often leave turn-outs on in the stable but if I take a wet one off I don’t like to put it back on. I’ve got some Rambo liners for my Duo so I guess I could use one of them with a 100g outer. I asked on the yard this morning if anyone was selling and I’ve got a couple to try later.

If you are using a 6ft 6in Weatherbeeta from 20 years ago a 6ft 6in from now will be too big, their sizes got bigger about 6-7 years ago as I recall my show cob who had always been 6ft 9 in a combo Weatherbeeta, being swamped by one and needing to go down to 6ft6. Current HW cob is also (just) in a 6ft 6 WB but is an inch taller and a lot wider than my old LW cob so sizes are definitely bigger than they used to be.
For comparison, HW Cob also wears 6ft 6 in Premier Equine turnouts which have always been a size bigger IMO (Buster/Titan range not the cheaper ones)

I actually think it depended on the models even years ago. The takas i mentioned from years ago were generous but i have a couple of turnouts bought after that i had to sell as they were too tight across the chest. I have various stable rugs and the oldest is actually in the middle but others much bigger or smaller.

Thanks good to know - it was a hand-me down from my older horse and just fits. I’m not wedded to Weatherbeeta my older horse is a 6ft 3in really and so everything else I’ve got is too short and was was my only 6ft 6 stable rug. He’s got a 6ft 9in Amigo Hero no fill turn-out and a 6ft 6in Rambo Duo. I’d prefer two straps and adjustable too. Some rugs only have one strap and some like Amigos are not adjustable.
