Hi guys

unfortunatly I have had some "do gooders" walk past my mares field and dump 20+ apples in her field for her to eat and what makes it worse is that she is a laminitic and just recently had a bout of laminitus in december I want to put some please dont feed the horse sings up but i want it to hight light the contition she is in, having trouble wording it

How about:

Please refrain from feeding the horses as they are on a restricted (veterinary supervised) diet for health reasons.

In other words bog off!

Its a difficult one as no doubt they thought they were being nice so you don't want to offend them

What about:

Please refrain from feeding the horses. Some of these horses are on restricted diets for serious veterinary reasons.

Spare apples etc gratefully received at main yard/stables and will be given to horses who can have them.

You might need 2 signs though
