Anyone any thoughts on any of these stallions and also the quality of there frozen semen.
Have an attractive and scopey TB mare that i want to put to something with a bit more bone and all of these seem to tick the box.
She is a fertile 7 year old so thinking of buying frozen by the dose hence asking if anyone has used any of these and knows the quality.

Thanks i think Califax would be my first choice for this mare and if semen is good quality it would be worth a shot at £320 a dose

I like Califax too!! Especially with the Julio Mariner link in his pedigree :-)
I thought that sir shutterfly looked great loose jumping.
Contendros- I like Contender- he has a very very smart son of his eventing with Clayton Fredericks at the moment

Thanks Seabiscuit this would be for Ellie and i think Califax would suit her well.
Just need to know the semen is good quality as could get a good deal on per dose frozen .
I have always hankered after a Sir Shutterfly as well though as think he would produce lovely eventer types

Sally, the Sir Shutterfly frozen semen that we have used has been -awesome- stuff!! :)

Our 2009 Sir Shutterfly colt was lovely - mega athletic , big moving but was also totally switched on from day one. I would say a real professionals horse - so it's a good job he was purchased by one! Also not sure that Sir Shutterfly is going to put much bone on a TB mare being extremely blood himself.

Thanks for this .
Mare has a great temperament so not worried about that ,she also doesnt lack dramatically in bone as was bred to NH race she really just needs something a bit more rounded if that makes sense .
slightly better neck set and carriage although she is very well balanced.
