have heard back from the vets now. They've flushed the joint and there didnt appear to be any other problems thankfully. He is now on his feet and back with mum. He'll probably be staying there until Sunday.
Feel quite relived now although I know he is not quite out of the woods yet.

Fantastic, I didn't realise he was a foal when I posted last night and felt terrible about it .Thinking of him and his mum.Good luck
