Sitting/risin trot. . .question

I was just wondering. . .in a dressage test unless it is specified can i either do sitting trot or rising trot. . .

In other words can i choose if i do the test in stitting or rising trot?

Have been schooling my boy recently and i find it easier to do sitting trot. . .Dont really know why just feels better

depends which test yr doing, anything up to elementry you can choose either.
but elementry and above you have to go sitting trot.

As far as i know you can do sitting trot at any level.

Sitting or rising for Elementary and below, sitting only from Medium.
