So I had my friend lunge me last night so i could work on my sitting trot.
I have to say my horses was brilliant and didnt put a foot wrong, bless him, he had me bouncing about trying different things so that i could get the stupid sitting trot right and he just did as he was told.
I felt a little better and try to take on board everything that was recommended but i couldnt get the movement in my hips and i felt like i was bouncing a lot although the girl lunging me said it wasnt moving as much as i though i was. I didnt know what to do with my hands so ended up using them as a sports bra, works really well.
I think i need a lot more practice but i dont think i will every find it comfortable on him but hopefully i will be able to ride while sitting trot and not just trying to stay on.
My legs are killing me, i feel like i have never ridden before and forgot how hard it was to ride without stirrups on a very bouncy horse.
Thanks for all your advice and i will keep practicing, i am going to try and do at least 5 mins every time i ride so hopefully i will get better.
