I've been told they come up short so the one I have just bought, I asked the lady to measure buckle end to buckle end so I was sure it would fit. Sorry that's probably not much help! If it's brown and a narrow guage though I know somebody looking for one!Hi, I'm clearing out the tack room! Trouble is, wherever I measure it from it comes up an odd number of inches, buckle end to buckle end is 24.5 inches so not a size! I had it on a 16.1 horse who was TB/WB , sort of middleweight I guess. Sorry it's black and not narrow.
Annoyingly, Fairfax Girths are measured from one extreme end to the extreme end - not from the buckle to buckle as is conventional. I found this the hard way by ordering a girth which was too small.
Therefore, if you are measuring buckle to buckle get a size up!
