Hi,
Am after buying a few rugs from Swish, but was wondering how their sizing and fit comes up? Does anyone have a rug by them, what do you think of them? Did you buy your usual size (in what brands?) and how did it fit your horse? My mare has fairly decent shoulders (masta and wetherbeta don't suit her, but shires, rambo and derby house do very nicely).
Help! Am keen to get them in the sale but don't want to waste my money on the wrong size!

hot choc for this dreary morning!

Hi

I have several from them, i am now very much a swish convert!!

There rugs seem to fit all my horses, even the wierd shaped ones! We have several very chunky dressage horses and the fit is fabulous on their shoulders, we have some of the full neck stable rugs, they are the only rugs not to rub the horses manes, i wanted some more but they are all sold out!

I would suggest just getting your normal size...

:)

That's a fab help, thank you! Only prob is she doesn't seem to have a 'normal' size! Some 6'9" are just right and others are def a size too big, wereas some 6'6" are perfect, but (esp with a turnout rug) they are too short and wind up a bit tight on the shoulders!
If they are bang on size with no spare (kind of like v budget rugs can be) then I'll give 6'9" a go, but if they are a reasnobly spacious cut (rambo type) then I'll give 6'6" a go!

I dont want to be responsible if you get the wrong size!!!

I would say go for whichever size you get the most of, i have found they are similar size wise to premier equine but have more room on the shoulders!

Ah, that is perfect to know (won't hold you responsible!), the PE ones she is in a 6'6", so I'll give the same a go.
Thank you!
They did say they would return or exchange if I got the wrong size but I imagine the postage would be heaps so I would rather get it right first time!

Good to know, thank you!
Am having a bit of a rug blitz as their sale is amazing and my girl has a selection of fairly ancient and holey rugs! She is now in proper grown up work and the clip to match so feel it is only fair to put back what I take off! Love the look of their rugs, they certainly appear nicely made.
