sizing of jeffries competition 5 point breastplate

i recently purchased a 5 point breastplate from evision equine. i ordered a size pony and it was still too big for my 14.1 welsh c, but he is very narrow, he doesnt really have any shoulders he sort of just goes straight down therefore it was far too big. seeing as that was the smallest size i was thinking of buying a jeffries 5 point breastplate but dont want to buy it if its going to be the same size as the other breastplate i bought.. so has anyone got a pony sized jeffries 5 point breastplate that could tell me what size horse they are using it on. would be very helpful thanks

No idea of this helps, but I have a large on a 16.3hh DWB, seven years old, and it's a bit tight, so I'm trying to find ways of making it a bit bigger. Here's a recent picture of her with it on

ohh ok thanks the company i got the other breastplate from said to make it smaller to slide the elastic through the leather but it just made it bigger! so you could try that?

Thank you . We've slid and slided all over the place and extended the straps, but still a tad too snug Daft hoss is all shoulders! Though she is only a medium width wise, there's quite a bit of depth to her.
