Does anyone have any recommendations? Mine had just moved down south (how dare she

) needs to be within about half an hour of Wetherby (too much money/time involved otherwise - which I don't have).

I'm not keen on a few in the area, and have been racking my brains to think of people and the only one I can think of is Louise Whitaker, although she's not that near, and I'm not sure how often she teaches etc.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm not really a fan of Richard's unfortunately!

I would consider Paul Barker, but he's a little far I think. And not sure about Jackson Reed Stephenson - does he teach, anyone had any experience? Also Carl Curtis, anyone know about him?

I would consider an 'unknown' just needs to be someone who is good, without being mega bossy and mean

I like Tracy Newman, but she's the wrong side of the country really

Is Joe good? I just worry about having lessons with someone that young!

I'm not trying to be ageist, I accept that he is better than me, its just he's so young! Where does he teach, or does he travel?

I wouldn't mind if some of the whitaker magic rubbed off on me

I use Ian Brown (Northallerton area but he'd come to you). I find he really works well with my horse and I know a few local people around here use him. Not too expensive and very good attitude.

I would recommend Moray Nicholson, he does a lot at Northallerton. It might be worth attending one of his group or individual schooling days there to see what you think.

He has done wonders with me and my horse and I would highly recommend.

Not sure where you are but we've been having lessons with Phillips McKeever through our RC and she is fab!! We've been having lessons at Northallerton but i know she is based further North, I think Durham way.
