I dont usually do reports from my comps, but we did so well yesterday I thought Id share.
We went to the Unaff SJ at Moulton College yesterday and despite being frozen through, we had an excellent day.
We planned to do the last two classes (95 & 1m) but got there so early, we ended up doing the first two! (75 & 85)
Warm up went really well, Arch felt fantastic and he flew over the practise fences. It was pretty rammed in the warmed up, so good job I had decent brakes! Ponies flying around all over the place!
So we went in the 75 and Arch was suddenlt full of it! He had a lttie 'Kevin' tanrum at the first fence and sorta 'ran out' so we had a few words htne he flew round, clearing the lot. We had a few braking issues, but at least he got it out of his system b4 the next class.
Next was the 85cm, MUCH better! We had good rythem all the wya round and I felt like a rode really well and Arch popped everything with ease getting a nice clean clear round.
I was soooo happy, I felt like all my training over the last month had really paid off
So, in to the jump off. The was a couple of horrible turns, but Arch manged perfectly, getting another clear.
Unfortunaly we weret fast enough to get placed, but a double clear in a time that was fast for us, I was over the moon!
We're back at Moulton on the 17th for BSJA, so no kids on wizzy ponies to be up against!
Thanks for reading, Im a very proud Mummy!
