In December I put my young horse in sales livery as I was about to have a baby and wasn't able to sell him myself. He has done really well and particularly his jumping is amazing - he has found something he loves doing, and he really can jump. I went to watch last week, and he is clearing the wings without any effort at all. The lady schooling him isn't a showjumper and has recommended I put him in a specialist yard to get a bit of comp experience before selling, hopefully for some more money.

Does anyone know a suitable yard in the south that would do a good job with him? Or any other ideas of what to do with him?

Many thanks!! x

What about sending him to John Whinnett? Have only heard good things about him and he's a lovely guy to chat to on the phone

I also have only heard good things about John Whinnet aswell.

Andy Austin is also reasonably near you who would possibly do him. He is a brat to deal with but does know his stuff and maybe worth a call.

Paul Crago is very highly respected and is an accredited trainer. Berkshire based.
