I had lessons with Carl a few years ago, very good rider and trainer but not as 'sympathetic' in his style as some IMO, great if you want pushed but maybe not ideal if you need to build confidence. I did learn plenty though![]()

This - he was bad for me with low confidence...made me feel worse. Others adore him! Corinne on the other hand was fab but I agree can be difficult to get hold of. She does do loads of clinics at Parwood at the moment though so I suppose you could always try her out? Have heard good things about Seb and have seen him ride at a show and was impressed by how very sympathetic he was to an obviously tricky youngster. My regular trainer is Justin Clubley who is an eventer but would probably be willing to come to your yard and is in Guildford so probably doable. He also teaches at Parwood a lot. I think as always - it's down to the partnership between you and your trainer - there are some trainers that people swear by and i have had terrible times with because i am so low on confidence or they didn't like my horse etc etc.
Good luck!
