Have had a crisis with my show jumping and need some serious help over the winter to get us going again.

Can anyone recommend someone in the north gloucestershire area who might be able to help?

Well there is Roland and Ali Fernyhough who are at Stonehouse (ish) - Roland is good but tough, Ali is a bit 'nicer' (for want of a better word) and I have had a lesson from Roland and it was great.

Then I can also highly recommend Bill Levett who is Chipping Campden - he got my confidence sky-high and I went from being terrified at BN to doing a 1.10 open in the space of about 5 months and about 4 lessons with him. I really rate Bill, he is super.

What about mat_b, I know everyone thinks of him as a dressage rider on here but he was doing some great show jumping work today and he use to purely show jump before he went into dressage, now he does both!

Didi Verdini...near Newent.

Had Roland Fernyhough for about 6 years....tried Jamie Fry and much prefered him!

If you like harsh talking then Roland is for you but it gets a bit wearing after a while...Jamie is positive while making you work as well

Rowland Ferneyhough is great and teaches Bill Levett, Paul Tapner so recon it is best to go straight to the top! He is very to the point (very politely put) but he will get the best out of the horse and rider.
