SJ yesterday!

Took ickle pony to Manor Farm for a play at SJ, he loves it, and it scares the pants off me

So I always promise him after hes a good boy at dressage he can go jumping

Well they advertised that the biggest class would be 2'9, so I went to do the 2'6 and the 2'9.............but when I got there they were doing a 3ft, so I was bullied into doing that aswell

The 2'6 was very hit and miss, william twisting over the fences and jumping them to the right rather than in the middle, a habit that im finding hard to brake

We had one down.

anyway I decided to push him on a bit more in the 2'9 and really let him attack the fences, something I find hard as I like to be in full control all the time

.............. well it worked he flew round much straighter, and much happier, we went double clear and came 3rd

3ft seemed huge as it was indoors, but decided to be brave and kick on, he was fab went clear in the first part and then had 2 down in the jump off section.......................BUT we came first we were the only ones to go clear in the first stage

very clever pony, and we only had the poles down as I got a bit carried away with the 'sit back and kick on bit'

Just need to get out jumping more, and fight my fear

Fab result! I was at Manor Farm yesterday too! I chickened out of doing the 3ft thou! My horse won the 2.9ft so I thought I'd leave it at that! They built a really nice course I thought, lots of space to move around

You don't know what happened to the grey who came 2nd in the 2.9ft do you? I people running over to his trailor with bandages just as we were leaving - hope he's ok!

I remember you

, I was on the bay little pony, the grey was my friend.

Her horse ripped its leg open on the trailer, we had to wait 2 hours for the vet, and he had to have stitches

But hes doing well

Well done for winning the 2'9 I was 3rd

and did the canter lap round the arena with you
