I’m trying to remember what vitamin many have said to give for skin. Was it vit e?

my boy is typical (very) heavy cob type so I’ve managed his legs with sporadic washes and potions so far but I’m also interested in giving internal help. Only had a few scabby parts (so has had dectomax and clipped, using an insect shampoo and anti-itch creams for prevention) but he definitely would get worse + mal/sal if I let it progress further. He only gets a handful of chaff as surplus feed not required lol

Omega-3 and omega-6? Vitamin E is in a lot of human skin products (supposed to be an anti-oxidant) but most of the skin supplements I see for horses have omega fatty acids. Or Vit B1 which is in Brewers Yeast? Biotin also a B-vitamin.

For skin I'd say vitamin e. Also Omega's, zink, and copper. The proper amount of those will help with skin stuff. Brewer's yeast could be worth a try too, but it doesn't seem to make a difference either way with mine. I believe the Brewer's Yeast has B vitamins in it.

Can’t have anything with biotin as he has mallenders/sallenders
