This is a bit random but any thoughts welcome!

I have a 6yo TB, he is chestnut with 4 white socks and pink skin, he had bad photosensitisation last summer, despite me being really careful, it has really flared up over the winter, when his legs get really muddy (hunting). The vet decided in his wisdom to clip the legs out and treat. Front legs are now completely fine, the hair has grown back, no problem, however for some reason the hair has not grown back on his hind legs, and I am really struggling with them.

I am not really a supplement person, too heavily marketed in MHO but I was wondering if anyone has come across a supplement that may help his skin heal and his hair grow???

Thanks for reading!

Not exactly for healing/growth but Winterglow/Summer shine is fantastic for promoting a healthy coat and skin.

Whilst I have always fed this to my arab I have just started giving it to a TB that I have in and whilst he didn't have a problem as such the difference is amazing. He is now soft, shiny and silky and is losing his winter coat very nicely.

Only thing could be whether or not the garlic will cause you a problem. I don't know the ins and outs of photosensitisation but if there is any heightened immune response involved then perhaps not a good plan.
