My mare has decided to become a sensative sod!
When I first clipped her she had a reaction to the clipper oil which meant she came out in itchy lumps for about a week. Nothing about her diet etc had changed.
She then had her jab on Thursday and the next day lo and behold my horse is covered in lumps! From what I know she has never reacted like this before ( I contacted previous owner).
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can give her to help with this because my next fear is that she is going to decided to have a reaction to fly bites and being stabled next to a river means the yard is full of midgies! My theory is to give her something to help with her skin and start building it up in her system now before fly season.
I want to go competing not have a horse covered in bites!!
