My partners 4yo Shar Pei has lost a huge amount of weight and looks like a rescue case, she has gone off food despite us trying and offering her all sorts, she has seen the vet, had blood tests and all have come back clear, she has digestive issues and has been started on a prescribed GI friendly food, which she will eat a little of a few times a day but isn't overly interest les in it unless really coaxed to eat. What else can we do?

What does the vet say? Are they suggesting further investigation ie scope/scan?

As above. Sounds like she needs further investigations such as X-ray and ultrasound.

She's been in the vets college, been tested for all sorts and apart from being lactose intolerant nothing is showing up.

Not that this is hugely helpful but I just read this week's DogWorld paper and there was a bit on there about dogs just randomly going off food. My own dog was doing much the same, but it was also with V&D in addition to the lack of eating. £1500 worth of investigative scopes, scans, xrays later, we got a diagnosis. But had we not they probably would have sent him to the vet school for further investigation. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason. But there is always an answer if you dig deep enough (and if your pockets are deep enough)/4
