See that's the old definition but then the commentators were saying that wasn't the case anymore it's open to debate?
I don't think it was wrong for the horse to be there and I don't think his death was related to this incident either. And I have complete sympathy for everyone involved as it could happen to anyone of us.
But seeing it vicarige v on the telly as I say it made me instantly angry and I still think he should have been stopped there. The commentators were saying oh he's quite rightly going to reitre and save it for an other day etc and then he carried on and they were speechless.
they can go down on all fours its if his shoulder or backend goes down thats classed as a horse fall. i saw him at weston just gone and he was loving it.
Patches.. i know andrew and if i remember rightly he will not mention this to a client, unprofessional and too damn close to his heart.
Skwal was one hell of a good horse and i am just pleased that he died after doing something he adored!
He loved cross country and all the footage shows this! Lets all stop putting blame on people, his rider, judges, owner. It is purly a bad tragidy, can happen to anyone at anytime and lets remember the fact that Skwal was BUZZING OFF BEING THERE!
