we have a good system now..solid barn wall and a half panel gate..it works well..just needs 3 people sometimes with all the kicking and struggling..
feisty little buggers....but it gets all the "nasties" over and done with in one 2 minute burst per pony...they get over it very quickly!!

You are very, very cruel.
You are supposed to put on a cowboy hat and chase them round and round until they are too tired to object. Then you put on a halter and poke it with a carrot stick, then it will be quite happy for you to jump upon its back (no helmet required 'coz it trusts you) and then gallop it into a fast moving trailer. See, true natural horsemanship is simply a case of combining all that you see on TV and throwing it together so that you become the best horse whisperer since John Rarey!
