Just come back from our favourite walk around the gravel pits. Dogs had a lovely time swimming and playing. Got back to the car, took skye's long line off and guess what?

Yes, she b******* off!

Cue me calling her sweetly, followed by a "Skye, will you come here now!"
(with me beginning to slightly panic as she was headed for the gravel pit lake just by where a swan was near the edge.

"Splash!!

Oh b*****hell!

I called her again and guess what?

Yes, she came back to me. Yeahhhhh.
I really wanted to half kill her but I was a sweetness and light telling her what a good girl she was to come back.

Well, it's a sort of progress as she did come back eventually.

Dogs! Don't you just love 'em.

Good girl!

Bella has been funny the last couple of days because I asked her to jump something, depite being very positive  so she won't come back straight off in case I do something scary (er, I am rolling around in the grass, yelling 'Bellabellabellabella!', nothing bad is going to happen!)

Yesterday she heard my mum putting bottles in the recycling box and she totally freaked and ran out of the field into the yard, cue me yelling "DOG INCOMING!"

Dogs, indeed!!!
