Fingers, hooves and paws crossed for her - I am sure it will all go well and she will back to normal in no time at all. I do realise it won't stop you worrying though.
Loads of vibes for a quick recovery - do you think that might have been why she kept tanking off, out of interest? Panic or insecurity because she couldn't see/was experiencing pain in her eye?
(We had another incident on Monday!!! Resolved by me running away from her waving my arms in the air like a loony until she deigned to follow me...)
Get well soon Skye! She'll be so much happier once it's done and settled down.
Incidently, there was a little Yorkie at the vets this morning who was in for her 1st check up since having her eye removed. She was charming and vet said everything went brilliantly! So hope that puts you at ease a little bit
Thank you all. It is a real help to me to know there are people "out there" that I can use as a"shoulder" for support.
Skye is totally unaware of what is about to happen, bless her.
Anyway, we are off to the vets for 08.45 and no doubt I'll be on tenterhooks until I get the phone call.
Will keep you posted.
Thank you again.
bless, fingers crossed it will all be fine.
We have a horse that had its eye removed due to cancer at the yard, he gets on fine so hopefully it will go fine for you.
Keep us updated xx
