I really feel for you, I hated every minute of being on crutches. Will be seeing you at lot more on here then.

Huge hugs that sounds awful. I've just realised I heard them calling for your Mum over the tannoy and saying she can have a lift. Didn't realise it was you or you'd had a bump

Hope you have a speedy recovery

Poor you, don't go getting addicted to Jeremy Kyle in the morning - you'll be howling at the screen at the stupid people. Last time I was stuck at home I got addicted to day time TV

really bad luck. The problem with this sport, it has a terrible habit of dragging you down when you think you cant go wrong. Fingers crossed for a quick and as pain free as possible recovery.

What rotten luck but I'm sure you will feel much happier once you're out of hospital. If you've been short-listed once I'm absolutely certain you will be again - it's just a matter of time.
Try not to be too down-hearted, we're all rooting for you and Sarnie.

Thanks but unfortunatly it probably is a one off. It is a bi-annual comp and we won't be eligible if we do a 3* which subject to injury and form we would like to do next year or the year after.

ouch! What a horrible accident, my legs went all funny and I felt slightly sick reading it! Hope you are feeling better soon, healing vibes coming your way!

The next team up is the main British team and I think spotted pigs are more likely to fly than me get anywhere near that. However there aare stll loads that we can achieve subject to both our health!

Poor you S_J, sounds so painful! Wishing you all the best, it's nice to know everyone at SL was so helpful and efficient. Shame about the ** too, but at least you've been shortlisted in the first place, quite an acheivement! Chin up and get mending woman!

That sounds so painful, was wincing here just reading your report. Internet at hospital bedside sounds very 21st century, don't think we'd get that round here. Sending you loads of healing vibes, as someone has already said, keep taking the arnica.

PMSL - you can watch us on there tomorrow. He came to us about a month ago to film some 4x4 Off Roading for a reunion type show. We've got the orange Land Rovers with instructor Richard. I was lurking briefly in the background as I wanted to meet JK

Sounds like SL was unluckier for you than the rest of us, puts my moans into perspective..
The injury sounds like it happened like my husband's. force on landing from a height. He is in plaster for four weeks then a plastic boot thing, and he reckons he can ride once he gets to that stage (won't tell the Drs that however!)
Am pretty surprised they didn't use th air ambulance to be honest, it could have landed well away from the event.
The pain sounds terrible, poor you.
I always get the feeling the Warren Farm lot would be brilliant in a crisis, reading Lucy's reports I know they have faced plenty of their own over the years!
If you have a bioflow boot strap it over the plaster, it healed CCJ's break two weeks quicker than expected, my OH is wearing a magnet under his plaster for the same effect.
Big hugs, I am temped to feel it was my fault and we are never to say hello at an event...

So sorry to hear about your leg Sarah - ive been in that position and it isnt nice. But it does heal eventually and you will be back up and riding soon.

Best wishes

Really sorry to read your report - must have been in absolute agony! At least you have access to the net though - would imagine your going to get so bored.. GL with your recovery x

My attitudewth drsis not to ask when you can ride again but just carry on wen able - it is going to be leaast 6-8 weeks though. We will meet one day maybe Hatherleigh lthough I think they are struggling with the weather - I'm quite recognisble at present!

I wondered re the chopper as it waas there the day before but evidently it can't even land at the hospital you have to be transfered so it not a lot easier.
