Sled dogs in the Making

So impressed with my mally pups today - they had their first 'training' session! On leads following the sibes (they'd done their exercise for the day and were having their cooling down walk). But both pups were out in front, trotting along very smartly together.
Would've had photo's but the flash failed on the camera - it was 5am so pitch black!! Next time we'll take the other camera lol
But, so proud of the pair of them - Hike on, pups!!

Born and bred workers those Loonies as lorr always tells me she breeds for harness not a show lead but saying that madam got BOB at her very first show just goes to show a working dog bred correctly to work will win in the showring it goes hand in hand

I'm probably going to show the girl, and possibly the boy, as well as work them. But I'm going to go straight in at champ shows (none of the opens round here have mals, so it'd be any variety aarrggg!).
They certainly live up to the Loonie name, don't they lol

Want another one to train? ok so technically not a snow dog type but would pull like a tank all day.... oh and he may need a jumper.....

Oh they definitely live up to the name madam is crackers lol but she is also the sweetest most cuddly girl I have ever had

I'm surprised by how different as pups they are from the sammies. They are much more base and feral lol, but sooo adorable.

All things being equal, we should be there with pups and sammy in tow! It'll be so nice to finally meet you and your gang

Definitely you'll just have to keep tight hold of those pups as there will no doubt be a fight between their nanny lorr and aunty em over who gets the most snuggles lol

They're too big and too growed up for snuggles and wuffles now, however hard you squeeze them
