Hello

Would you buy a horse that had failed a vet check due to showing slightly lame when trotting tight circles on concrete?

When pressed they said he can get a bit stiff when out of work for a bit, and believe this is all it is. He’s 7

My ever so slightly lame the vets thought I was a paranoid owner has turned out to have pretty severe ligament damage - so I'd be running a mile!

A diagnosis & what you (or the purchaser) want to do with the horse, would be key for me. If the horse has been investigated, had a firm diagnosis, a good prognosis & dependent on how you planned to keep him & your riding ambitions it doesn't necessarily need to be a write off.

But a 7 year old with an undiagnosed lameness is IMHO a different kettle of fish and I'd steer clear personally.
