I posted last night that I was considering changing my car to a 4x4 or anything really that would cope better in snow and ice - mine goes nowhere in it as no traction.
I have discovered that there are 'summer tyres' and 'winter tyres' mine has summer sports tyres -thin wall so no grip in cold weather. These can be changed to winter ones which are specifically designed to have grip and perform at lower air tempreatures and the summer ones can then be stored for, well summer basically
.
I know its not strictly horse related but this discovery will save me a 5 mile round trip on foot to the yard
as Im about to invest in winter tyres! Thought others might benifit from this tip!
