Tonight I noticed my little mare had a slightly runny nose (a bit of white goo basically) when eating her dinner, she snorted and there was goo - I noticed this one other time, a couple of nights ago after hunting - any ideas??? I hacked her out today and we did quite a lot of fast work and jumping, she wasn't hot when we got back and I put her back in her stable with a fleece on - she ate and drank happily. She was then fully rugged tonight (3 rugs) as she is every night. She is hunting fit and doesn't have much covering at the moment, I'm struggling to keep weight on her as she's naturally fizzy and isn't really bothered by her food, she eats if there is nothing else going on and she can really be bothered... should i be worried by the slight snotty nose??

my lad gets this if he has had slightly dusty hay, as long as its not smelly or changes to a darker colour i would just keep a eye or her
