I have been off work now for a week.
I have had one orthopaedic surgeon (from work) and my gp tell me I have slipped a disc! Two people cant be wrong, I thought I had just strained my back and OH said I was in denial. I can't deny it now. I may even need surgery!!
Am frustrated, I cant sit in a normal chair, I cant bend down to stroke my cat , I have trouble putting my knickers on and I cant see to my horse. Not sure what is worse the pain or the not being able to care for my horse.
All this from a previous riding injury which I ignored for 10 years and pushing a heavy wheelbarrow up a steep hill full of horse's droppings.
Thank goodness for my OH for looking after me, the cats, the horse, himself and still working 10 hours a day!
Look after your backs and do not ignore any back symptoms (like I did!)
