My 17.2 warmblood has always been a bit slippy on some road surfaces especially down steep hills. Ive always had road pins in but doesnt seem to make a massive difference. Now on one of my main hacking routes which is very hilly a brand new road surface has been put down and my horses slipped three times on the level. Its liek an ice rink! I decided to come home and not give the steep hill a try! This is going to be a real pain for me now so is there anyone out there that has had a similar problem and perhaps has something different with the shoeing?
Unbelievabley this road didnt really need resurfacing so the council spends ££££ doing that and yet we have roads with huge great potholes!
