Don't know but if you go to the bottom of the main index page it tells you how many people are on the forum and I checked - it was something like 199 registered and 290 UN-registered!!!

I am registered, but choose to be anonymous, and therefore show as that. Not all anonymous people are not members, though some are just browsing. I don't think it would make any difference, though, if they did register. It is the total volume of traffic that's the problem as I understand it.
