I have a DAF 7.5t horsebox with a double passenger seat but the middle seat only has a lapbelt. This makes it impossible to attach 2 childseats. Have been told it is not possible to fit another 3 point seatbelt as there is not a suitable anchor point.

What do other people do? By the time the season starts and I really need to fit the whole family in the lorry the small people will be 6 months & 2 1/5 yrs. Suggestions?.................

we had a bedford and always just sat in the cab. No seatbelts at all!

Either that, or asleep on the luton or in the living area.
For the littlest could you get a carrycot thing anchored down in the living, and the bigger one sat with an adult.

Can u get a second opinion on the fitting of a belt? There must be a way of creating an anchor point by reinforcing an area? If it was me and I couldn't resolve it I'd be selling box and getting another, sorry but I've been in crash with a baby and if she wasn't in her seat properly she wouldn't be here, it really scares me. Hope u can get a belt in x

Hurray - a breakthrough. I didnt know you get child seats that fix with a lap belt. Infact with a bit of research there are quite a few.

THANK YOU very much - sorted x
