Anyone recommend any without paying a fortune?

Preferably cordless/rechargeable

I have the Wahl Pro ones and they have done really well fort he last 10 years but the battery is past charging and now the power lead has to be twisted and turned to the exact micron to get them to work!

I personally would suggest avoiding Lister Meteors as mine have never held charge (despite goping back to Lisers a few times) and are pretty hopeless unless they are plugged into the mains

I've just got the Liveryman Element clippers for £55 and they are fab. Friend has got the wahl pro and is pleased with them too. I've been told that really for trimmers that will do a good job and last, you need to be spending around the £50 mark.

Wouldn't mind having a look Nijinski - mine'll do for Hugo but madam gets bored and throws her teddies and I was hoping to get some just to do top of her neck and half face.

Would the liveryman's do that? Can you remember how much they were.

Have tried old YO's Listers and had the same problem as mentioned.

God I bought them years ago, can't remember, I don't think they were very dear. I just use them to trim up face, tail (don't pull) & bridle path. They may need to be sharpened though as I've never had them done.

Have just bought some Worsley Hummingbirds, they are cordless/rechargable, come in a rather nice metal case and cost me all of £16.00, they are really nice......

Well if you've done well with the Wahl Pro, I'd recommend getting new ones of those, ESPECIALLY now that they come in PINK, LOL!

We've decided to go for the Wahl Pro again, the slightly dearer ones you can use on mains too but they only come in Black.

at least then is the casing or anything craks we can mix and match from the old ones.

Thanks everyone, off to order now
