Oh poor pickle! I really loved following his story when you first got him, and you other horse, was it Jam or Sarnie or something? The youngster looks really smart too - love a nice coloured!

There is both a Jam and a Sarnie - I don't know the usernames of the owners though, rather their RL names so don't want to name them!

Monty is only 15.2hh. He doesn't feel little. I love him. Perfect size. Don't need anything bigger. He can jump 5ft hedges, 1m25 SJ and is doing Advanced Medium dressage with more to come.

Mine is about 16hh, but he feels tiny compared to my previous 17.2!

His stride is pony sized, which has cause some excitement in the sj, but he takes strides out at big novice tables so will be doing an intermediate later this year if I can find some brave pants :D

My dinky 15.1 ish TB (ex racer) we're not at any high level but we have fun :D (excuse the useless rider positions) He loves to do things his own way so we're steady away and our SJ needs some work with scary fillers but might make BE one day!

I'm not sure I'd really call mine a competition horse simply because I don't have the time, energy or funds to compete seriously, so I suppose he's an all rounder, but he'd be a little comp horse if I could be bothered to do it properly!
He's passported at 15hh (on his tip toes I think!), unknown breeding but probably Connemara x ID. Super little horse. I've done some BE80s with him and a few UA 90s, and he usually gets placed. Always gets a rosette at UA DR and usually at UA SJ and HTs (90s) too. Schools easily over 1m BE courses without breaking a sweat and done some Novice team chasing too.
The guy I bought him from reckoned he was FEI event pony quality (which would make him NOT 15hh I think after all?!). I've had lessons with a couple of 4* eventers who've told me he was superb. Two years ago one told me to "stop messing around with 80s and 90s, get straight out at 100 and go up from there". Last year I started having lessons with a DR rider who tells me he's going to make a super DR pony (he begs to differ as his real love is XC!), that I have to do BD this year, and in her opinion he'd make the perfect BYRDS pony.

So lots of people say all the right things about him - I'm sure with a better, more dedicated rider he'd do much more but I mostly just dabble and try my best with the limited time I have to do anything! I've got the DR bug at the mo and am really enjoying my training so would like to affiliate this year... but TBH he's equally happy just hacking and doing fun rides!

This is my 14.2 'competition horse' on his way to winning a unaff 80cm ODE, fab little man who can more than hold his own against the big boys though he doesn't have the longest stride so we have to work hard on fitness to make the time XC.. Easily jump bigger with a smaller jockey. Competing and winning at unaff Novice dressage, hope to move up the levels if I can improve my riding..

I'm very lucky to have 3 pocket rockets, although one has since had a growth spurt so probably isnt a pocket rocket anymore :(

Bought as 15.2 as a 4 year old but has since shot up to 16.2 ish as an almost 7 year old. Competing at 1.25m

Bought as a 7 year old competing 1.30m but have only just started getting the hang of her so jumping 1.15's. Currently stands at around 16 hands but feels bigger to ride as she has a huge stride and is slightly stockier than my other 2

and my overgrown pony! Very pony like in all aspects (stride, build etc), competing at 1.15 but struggles any bigger than 1.20 due to his small stride :( He is so fun to ride though! Currently standing at 15.1 and bought as a 6 year old

Love you matching gear polos, I have slight ear veil envy now!

My old mare was a little comp horse, 14.3 of long back short legged LW cob. No designed to showjump at all but was pretty good at it really. She would have made a better junior pony really as she struggled with the striding as the courses got to 1.10m in horse classes, that said if I knew then what I know now, it might have been different. She was a fab horse who didn’t realise she was little.
