Small dog breed best for us

I’ve never owned one but a friend did. Hers was quite old when I met her but she was a nice size and quite obedient. She was friendly without being over the top and my friend said she had always been pretty easy . Good luck and don’t forget pics when you get yours ..
 
I hope you will both be really happy with you WSS. I have no experience with the breed but it sounds as if you have found a great compromise.
 
Ours was lovely but probably one of the noisiest dogs we've owned. Bad separation anxiety but was great if you could take her with her. She also lost an eye to a condition she was tested for so definitely check parents lines. She loved nothing more than a big cuddle
